Couldn't fall asleep until midnight. Woke up at 6 and got up at 7 to have breakfast. Took part in the scheduled English lesson at half past 7. Afterward, watched some videos on Youtube. Headed to the study room to search for jobs. Heard that my niece failed to pass the interview of the Medical School of Wuhan University, so she would have to go through the adjustment process. There were rumors that one need to pay 100,000 yuan through some connections to secure admission, and someone with a much lower score was accepted. The competition was definitely very tough, and the rumors might be complaints from those who didn't get accepted. Well, that's just my speculation, and since I am a Wuhan University alumnus, my views might be subjective. Played FIFA after lunch, then returned to the study room to prepare for the interview, which started at 3. I was asked to solve an algorithm question, which was quite easy - deep clone a graph. Then the interviewer asked me about my job experiences. I felt I did a better job than last time, but still not good enough. Why were there so many questions on databases? The interview took me around 46 minutes. Then I played RingFit and practiced my English with Liulishuo. Gonna find some new ways of practicing English. Completed 8 pomodoroes today - one for exercise, two for English and five for job search.
