昨天接近九点睡着的。三点被闹钟闹醒，按停继续睡；四点多也醒了，不过也懒得起来，就继续打瞌睡。一直睡到七点多起来过早，然后躺回去摸会儿鱼。快九点弹弹琴，然后进书房练口语，完了刷刷题什么的。昨天吃了一天剩菜，今天还有点剩菜没吃完，不过好歹是有空间让我处理前几天低温慢煮的牛肋排了。基本上就是从冰箱里拿出来，煎出脆壳，然后抹上酱汁（我懒得弄Joshua那个酱汁了，直接用现成的美式烧烤酱），用喷枪把酱汁烧热结束。这肉比我煎的牛排好切多了，简直跟奶油蛋糕似的。也正因为如此，上面附着很多肉冻我也不敢弄下来，感觉肉比肉冻结实不了多少，所以煎的效果不是很好。吃的时候，肥的部份几乎一抿即化，瘦肉部分也很嫩，就是是冷的。下午我还是先用低温慢煮机热一下再煎吧，然后酱汁用照烧汁试试，我看弹幕里有人说Joshua做的酱汁跟照烧汁差不多，可能就少个清酒、味淋什么的？游戏更新稍微等了下，然后稍微打打，清掉一个小村庄就没打了，进书房练练口语。之后摸了会儿鱼，懒得起来锻炼，就看会儿历史研究写写总结了。写完顺手记下流水账，然后等到六点去煎牛肋排，吃晚饭睡觉了。

We have also made a survey for five types of stimulus, including hard countries, new ground, blows, pressures and penalizations. The result is positive. But what would happen if we incease the severity of the challenge? Will the stimulus also increase infinitely when the challenge is met? Will we reach a point that the stimulus will decrease then, or it's impossible to met the challege? We do miss some extreme cases, which may be the examples of excessive challenge. Venice, Holland and Switzerland are the three hardest parts of Western Europe and have the highest level of social achievement. But their challenges are limited to difficull physical environment. When it comes to human side, the hard ground protect them actually. There are a lot of communities that have failed to respond to a challenge. But that proves nothing, since almost every challenge evokes successful respond eventually. The physical challenge of the North European baffled primitive man. But the pioneers from the Western and the Russian civilization came and conquered it then. The human challenge of North European barbarians came from the Hellenic Society. The Celts failed to respond to it after a promissing start and a long struggle, while the Teutons succeeded. The Syriac World face the same problem of Hellenic invasion. It tried five times to evict Hellenic influence. The Zoroastrian and Jewish reactions were based on the religion they already had, while the Nestorian and Monophysite reactions were attempts to de-Hellenize Christianity. At last, the fifth attempt, which came from Islam, an indigenous universal church, succeeded.
