 Fell asleep around 1 I believe. Woke up around 6:30 and got up to have some dumplings as breakfast. Then worked on my project, tried to initialize a react-native project and get it running on iOS simulator. But there were a lot of problems. Did the running exercise while it was installing dependencies. Palyed Zelda for a while after lunch, then continued to work. It looked like react-native didn't work well with monorepo and thus several paths in scripts needed to be modified. But it still complained that it couldn't find metro config after getting the path of commands correctly. So had to run development server from command line, then started the app from XCode. But weirdly, though the app could be started on iOS simulator, it still complained that 'no bundle url present'. It couldn't connect to development server. Tried to visit the development server using Safari on simulator, '127.0.0.1' worked but 'localhost' failed. After hours' research, there was still no solution to my problem. Suddenly, felt like it might be the problem of my VPN, so I turned it off in my Mac's network setting, and the app worked. Holy shit. Did the cycling exercise while the app was installing dependencies, 'pod install' is really time-consuming. Worked even after dinner. Completed 18 pomodoroes today - four for exercise and fourteen for work.
