Talked with the client on Upwork for a while after dinner. The client was from Hong Kong and required a Chinese-speaking developer, which made the competition for this job not so tough. Things went well, and I thought I was going to get my first job on Upwork. Nevertheless, it turned out to be a VPN job. The client wanted me to develop mobile app for VPN servise. I searched for a while, was not able to find an article explaining the risk in it. Maybe the client was right, I was risk-free if I was only responsible for writing code and uploading them to a private repository on Github. But I can't risk that. It was not to say that, I didn't have the courage to resist the regulation. But it would be silly of me to catch the government's attention for this. So I had to reject it, and waited for another chance. Couldn't fall asleep and played Civilization until half past 1. Got up and made a bowl of hot dry noodles to eat. Afterward, watched some football games. However, I dozzed off in most of the time. Had breakfast at 7 and went back to sleep. Didn't get up at 9 because it was vacation. I forgot that last week, so the goal should be 40 pomodoroes for this week. There were 24 pomodoroes left, which seemed not very difficult to achieve. Got up at 11 to have lunch. Then, as usual weekends, listened to some podcasts and did the running exercise around 2. ExpressVPN worked for one or two hour, then I was not able to connect to their server again. And they haven't responded my email yet. Gonna try StrongVPN or something else tomorrow.
