昨天还是晚饭后睡觉，睡到十二点多才起来。既然过了转钟，就直接进书房弹弹琴练练口语，然后看看书等比赛。快三点出去看比赛，找了一会儿才找到信号，然后倒啤酒开烤炉烤点牛肉串吃。吃完瞅了眼直播吧才发现这半个月都有欧国联的比赛啊，吃早了，还以为没什么机会看比赛吃烤串了。看完去踩骑行台，顺便听听lecture和英文播客。完了边打mh边听中文播客，打了几个十八分半。八点不打了，准备做烤箱版脆皮五花肉，就先把肉处理好。九点进书房先把总结写了，后面两个因素原文挺多的，但我感觉现在也没什么好说的了就随便写了两句。写完弹了下琴感觉挺困的，就把肉放进烤箱，然后打盹。午饭过后继续打黑龙，打了快22分钟，这只黑龙是不会扇形火么？下午没法动，一觉睡到快五点。起来坐椅子上还把椅子坐塌了。昨天在京东买了点乌龙茶、宝矿力水特和清酒，结果清酒最先到了，宝矿力水特送出来了，只有乌龙茶和之前下单的低温慢煮棒毫无动静。记下流水账，等下热下五花肉吃晚饭继续睡。

While there are 15 out of 21 societies are affilicated to predecessors, 6 of them, including the Egyptiac, the Sumeric, the Minoan, the Sinic, the Mayan and the Andean, have emerged from primitive life directly. So what's the key differerce between primitive societies and civilizations? First, it's not the presence of institutions since primitive societies have their own institutions, which can be as elaborate and subtle as institutions in civilizations. We can also find the division of labour in primitive societies, so it's not the key difference as well. A more convincing argument is, people in primitive societies mainly imitate older generation and thus the society remains static. In civilizations, imitation is directed towards those who can innocate so the society can advance. But if primitive society cannot evolve, how does it have the chance to become civilization? We don't know the answer, but we can say the mutation from primitive societies into civilizations consists in a transition from a static condition to a dynamic activity. Moreover, civilizations in disintegration can be seen as a society which loses its creative power and thus lapses from a dynamic activity into a static station. So we can describe the transition from civilizations to civilizations with the same formula. So the emergences and declines of civilizations forms an alternating rhythm of static and dynamic, which Lao-tse desccribed in terms of Ying and Yang. Now let's explore, what's the factor that makes static society to move again. There are two factors we don't believe to be the right answer. The first is race. It's conceivable that spiritual superiority is related to skin colour. Another factor is environment. Ancient Greeks thought atmosphere, water and something like that were factors that should account for the differences of cultures they observed. Such theory is easy to refute, we only need to find areas which are similar to each other geographically and climatically, while the cultures vary.
